The successful candidate must have excellent organisational skills; able to plan and work on several tasks at the same time and ability to meet tight deadlines.  Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely decisions. Must be able to handle private or sensitive corporate and personal information with a lot of confidentiality whilst providing administrative support to Departments and Teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and manage databases.
  • Review and proofread a variety of information to ensure accuracy of information, consistency with administrative policy, format, and working and grammatical correctness.
  • Book rooms and conference facilities for training.
  • Use content management systems to maintain and update client websites and databases.
  • Attend meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes.
  • Invoicing and managing client accounts.
  • Filing of documents for easy retrieval and storage.
  • Liaise with staff in other departments and with external contacts.
  • Order and maintain stationery and equipment supplies.
  • Sort and distribute incoming post and organize and send outgoing post.
  • Liaise with colleagues and external contacts to book travel and accommodation.
  • Photocopy and print various documents, on behalf of clients and other colleagues.
  • Arrange both in-house and external events.
  • Implement new procedures and administrative systems
  • Other duties may include: recruiting, training and supervising junior staff and delegating work as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Any other duties assigned in accordance with the company’s policies and vision.

Required Technical skills and Experience:

  • Excellent administrative skills to manage administrative support functions and more complex tasks including establishing relative priorities of current and anticipated workload
  • Practical experience in MS Office Applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Proven ability to organize and conduct assignments according to deadlines
  • Strong communication (written and verbal)/ customer focus skills
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Problem Solving Skills


  • Must have a minimum of HND or equivalent Professional certification with practical knowledge and skills in job functions; expertise in related ICT.
